FUND I - Technologieholding Central and Eastern European Funds
3TS was originally set up in 1999 by the Finnish Sitra and the
German Technologieholding to advise two new Netherlands based TCEE
Funds: Technologieholding Central and Eastern European Fund NV and
Technologieholding Central and Eastern European parallel Fund BV.
These venture capital funds totaling € 66 million have been fully
invested into 15 companies, out of which 11 have been exited and 4 are
in active portfolio.
FUND II - 3TS Central European Fund II
Building on the success of Fund I, in 2005 3TS raised 3TS Central
European Fund II totaling € 130 million from one of its´ existing
investors: 3i Group plc, Europe’s leading private equity and venture
capital firm. This private equity fund is currently actively investing
and primarily targets growth capital investments between € 5-15
million. Its’ active portfolio contains 6 companies.
3TS Cisco Growth Fund
3TS in partnership with Cisco Systems Inc, the worldwide leader in
networking technologies launched In November 2007 a new venture capital
fund, the Technology in Central and Eastern Europe S.C.A. SICAR
(marketed as the “3TS Cisco Growth Fund”), primarily targeting € 1-4

Mr. Lynch is the managing partner of 3TS and is primarily responsible for originating,

Mr. Lynch joined 3TS in September 2000. Previously, Mr. Lynch was the Investment Director
in charge of Telecoms and Technology for the AIG New Europe Fund based in Warsaw.
He has continuously lived and worked in Central Europe for over 20 years working in the CEE Venture Capital
and Private Equity industry the entire time. He resides in the Czech Republic.
He has a BA (finance) from Washington State University and an MBA from University of California at Berkeley.

Pekka Santeri Mäki,

Mr. Mäki is the managing partner of 3TS and is primarily
responsible for general management of 3TS. He is also active in

Previously, Mr. Mäki was the Managing Partner of Red Catalyst Ltd., a
strategic business development consultancy and an investment boutique.
From 1990 to 2000, he worked in top management positions at various
international advertising agencies across Central and Eastern Europe and
in Finland. In 1980s he started in management consulting and studied at
Helsinki University of Technology, Universidad Complutense in Madrid
and Wirschaftsuniversität Vienna.

Mr Sfintescu is responsible for Romanian investment
sourcing, transactions and portfolio management. Prior to joining 3TS
in October 2007, Mr Sfintescu has been working for 14 years in
investment banking, of which five years as Corporate Finance Director
with CA IB (currently member of UniCredit Group). Mr Sfintescu
coordinated landmark M&A transactions in Romania and Central Asia
on behalf of high profile multinationals and governmental agencies.
Subsequently Mr Sfintescu established his own investment banking
boutique which has been instrumental in successfully closing private
equity transactions. He holds an MBA degree from University of
Washington in Seattle.

Matts Andersson,
Senior Advisor, Helsinki
Mr. Andersson is a member of the 3TS board. Previously, he was the
Managing Director of Sitra Management Ltd and vice president of Sitra,
the Finnish National Fund for Research and Development,
where he was responsible for the development of Sitra’s venture
capital direct investments. He also initiated Sitra’s fund investment
programme which has made commitments to a large number of venture
capital funds located in Finland and abroad. Mr. Andersson was a
founding member and the first Chairman of the Finnish Venture Capital
Association and a past Chairman of the European Venture Capital
Association. Mr. Andersson holds a Master’s degree in Economics.
