Polish manufacturing PMI edges up in February

Poland's purchasing managers' index PMI edged up to 48.9 pts in February from 48.6 pts in January, a PMI report by HSBC showed.
The indicator has been below 50 pts for the last 11 months, the report said.

Orders continued to decline, but only at a slow pace. Output declined in February after holding flat in January, but the pace of decline was only marginal. Also employment declined only marginally.

Production backlogs declined at a faster pace than in January. Also input purchase declines accelerated.
