EnCap Investments
is expected to announce it
has raised $5 billion for its 17th energy-focused investment fund and
ninth private equity investment vehicle amid continued limited partner
interest in the sector.
"The last fund was $3.5
billion and of the $5 billion we just raised, $4 billion came from our
existing [limited partners]," said David Miller, a managing director and
co-founder of
EnCap Investments
. "We had a very strong support from our historical LPs and the fund was hugely oversubscribed."...
