EQT Partners has sold BTX Group, a Danish wholesaler of clothing for mature women, to Sun European Partners.
Comprising
five brands – Brandtex, Jensen Women, Signature, Imitz and Ciso – BTX
sells its products via 120 in-store retail concessions.
“BTX is a
distinct Danish apparel company with a loyal customer base and a
well-diversified portfolio of brands. We look forward to supporting
management in further strengthening the Company’s market presence across
Northern Europe,” said Benjamin Buerstedde, vice president at Sun
European.
The company, sold by EQT IV, had a turnover of DKr2bn (€268.1m) and profits of more than DKr100m in 2011.
