Bridgepoint

About us

Overview

Bridgepoint is a major international private equity group focused on investing in market-leading businesses, working with management teams to create and realise value within its portfolio companies.

Buyouts

We look to invest in market-leading businesses valued up to €1 billion where we can help create significant value under Bridgepoint ownership.

Bridgepoint Development Capital

Here our focus is on lower middle-market buy-outs and growth capital investments in businesses valued up to €150 million.

Our team

People are the reason behind our success – particularly in assembling the best teams for every investment we make. We are able to bring together people with the most relevant sector and transaction experience, to originate attractive investment opportunities for our investors and to position our portfolio companies for long-term growth.

Our values & culture

We’re true to our values, which we instil in our team, our behaviour and in how we conduct our business.

Our locations

We have a local presence in every major European private equity market. With a network of 10 European bases and a portfolio office in Shanghai, we can deploy resources effectively when identifying and completing transactions – as well as manage value creation in the businesses we support.

What we do

Buyouts

Bridgepoint seeks to acquire companies with strong market positions and earnings growth potential where significant additional value can be created through expansion and operational improvement. Typically, we will make equity investments between €75 million and €400 million in companies capitalised between €200 million and €1 billion. Our lower middle market business Bridgepoint Development Capital specialises in investments in businesses valued up to a €150 million, taking equity stakes of between €10 million and €75 million.

Bridgepoint Development Capital

Bridgepoint Development Capital provides funding to businesses headquartered in France, the Nordic region and the UK, normally buyouts valued up to €150m, looking for an investment partner.

Sector knowledge

Our investment team invests in six broad sectors where we have the most experience, and which we believe offer the best middle market investment opportunities: Business Services, Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing & Industrials and Media & Technology.
