E.ON and GDF agree to sell Slovak Gas Holding to EPH

Germany’s E.ON and French group EDF Suez have agreed to sell their stake in a Slovakian natural
gas joint venture held through Slovak Gas Holding (SGH) to Czech company Energetický a Prumyslový (EPH), in a deal worth USD 3,478 milllion. SGH owns a 49 per cent interest in Slovensky Plynarensky Priemysel, and EPH will acquire this minority shareholding along with operational control of the venture, in which the Slovak government holds the remaining 51 per cent stake.
